FHP recently trained fifteen new Auxiliary members in Troop C. While the new members completed the majority of their training via Gulf Coast Community College correspondence classes, they received all of their high liability training from FHP Instructors who specialize in the required types of training.
The FHPA members successfully completed their firearms training under Trooper Will Jarvis, who earlier this year completed his specialized firearms training at St. Petersburg College. Afterward, the students completed emergency vehicle operations training under the instruction of Troopers Larry Coggins, Tom Kelley, Jesse Hinson, and FHPA Captain Lew Mitten.

Troop C is proud of their newly trained FHPA members and welcomes them to the largest Auxiliary force in America!
