One of the Florida Highway Patrol's most wanted has turned herself in to the Pinellas County Jail. The female subject was wanted for DUI Manslaughter in connection with the December 15, 2003, vehicle crash on Interstate 275 near 54th Avenue North in Pinellas County.

The female subject was operating a 2001 Mazda pickup when she cut off another motorist, causing a crash with a 1995 Ford Probe. Her vehicle overturned, ejecting a female passenger, who passed away four days later at Bayfront Medical Center from injuries sustained in the crash. A DUI investigation as a result of the crash revealed that her blood alcohol level was over twice the legal limit. With the aid of the public, the Florida Highway Patrol and the Pinellas County Crime Stoppers' continued coverage of this case, tips lead FHP investigator Corporal Frank Burke to Maryland, where members of the Maryland State Police assisted the FHP by locating the subject's family. The contact resulted in the subject traveling back to Florida and turning herself in.
