On Thursday, April 22, 2004, "Take your son or daughter to work day" some Florida Highway Patrol parents brought their children to work. Members of Troop E took this opportunity to talk about traffic safety and showcase equipment and officers. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and Florida Department of Transportation (DOT) were invited to bring their children for the demonstrations.
