After completing the aforementioned training, Larry successfully completed the 40-hour "Firearms Recognition" and "Defensive Tactics" training. He is now qualified to ride with FHP Troopers and assist them with their normal duties. After Larry has been with the FHP Auxiliary for one-year, he is eligible to attend an approved CJSTC Driver Training program that would qualify him for "Limited Scope Patrol" in which he could perform other limited duties under the supervision of FHP Troopers.
