Major Carpenter, Bruno Moore, and Natalie Nichols
Major Carpenter, Bruno Moore and Natalie Nichols

On Wednesday, August 7, 2002, Major Richard D. Carpenter, Florida Highway Patrol Troop K Commander, presented a certificate of appreciation to Metro Traffic Networks on behalf of the Buckle Up Florida campaign. Accepting the certificate were television and radio personalities Bruno Moore and Natalie Nichols. Metro Traffic broadcasts real-time traffic information to millions of Florida motorists on dozens of radio and television stations. Metro Traffic Networks, a division of Westward One Broadcasting, has been an important resource for law enforcement trying to get the buckle-up message out to Florida motorists.
