During a ceremony today at the Capitol, Governor Jeb Bush placed the first "FLA USA" Visit Florida logo stickers onto the rear window of a Florida Highway Patrol vehicle. More than two thousand of the Visit Florida stickers will adorn patrol cars statewide as part of the Governor’s ongoing effort to promote tourism to and within the state.

"The patriotic FLAUSA logo conveys the honor all our troopers feel to be Americans and Floridians during this critical time of national unity," said Governor Bush "As these men and women patrol the state’s highways, it is wonderful that they have chosen to they display the state’s official tourism brand to demonstrate to Floridians and visitors alike just how vital tourism is to our state."

All of the state’s marked Highway Patrol vehicles will display the FLAUSA logo window clings. "This is the Highway Patrol’s way of showing support for the Governor’s efforts to increase tourism in Florida," said FHP Director, Colonel Christopher Knight. "We have already shipped the rear window clings to our patrol units across the state and they will be seen on cars during this holiday weekend."

The FLAUSA brand was developed by VISIT FLORIDA, the state’s official tourism marketing corporation, and is used in all advertising, printed materials, and other devices that promote Florida as the world’s premier vacation destination.
