Chief Jim Lee, Bureau of Field Operations, Region II, recently graduated from the FBI National Academy's 201st Session in Quantico, Virginia.
Lee was born in Jacksonville, Florida, attended public schools, and later received his Associate's Degree from Florida Junior College. He has subsequently earned a Bachelor's Degree from Barry University in Miami. Chief Lee began his career with the Florida Highway Patrol in 1974 and was assigned to Tampa. He has since served in Jacksonville, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Orlando. Chief Lee oversees patrol operations in 25 counties in Central and Southwest Florida. He is responsible for approximately 750 employees.
