Lieutenant Ricky McIntyre, commander of FHP's central vehicle installation facility in Middleburg, has decided to retire and start a new career in real estate. Ricky went through the 52nd recruit school at the FHP Academy, which started January 10, 1977, and began his career as a trooper in Troop D. Throughout his 28 plus years with FHP he has held several positions. He has been an instructor at the FHP Training Academy, the St. Augustine sub-district commander, Troop G shift commander, Troop G Training Coordinator, and oversaw the start-up operations of FHP's central vehicle installation facility in Middleburg. Ricky will be missed by all of his friends that worked with him over the years, but what they will especially miss is the homemade peach cobbler that he is so famous for during training sessions. Good luck Ricky& thanks for your faithful and dedicated service!
