Cpl. Lynn Stein and Homestead Girl Scout Troop

On October 12, 2006, Cpl. Lynn Stein helped a Homestead Girl Scout Troop earn a badge in “Car Safety”. Topics included vehicle maintenance and passenger safety as well as gun safety and careers in law enforcement. Cpl. Stein showed the scouts how to check vehicle fluids and other requirements to keep a car in safe working order. Florida’s primary seat belt law for passengers under 18 was explained to the girls.
