The Brooksville District, which includes Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, and Sumter counties, covers over 2,360 square miles of Florida's nature coast. Bordered by Crystal River to the north and metropolitan Tampa to the south, the Brooksville District Troopers are responsible for one of Florida's fastest growing areas. The Brooksville District is home to the world famous Weeki Wachee Springs mermaids, Withlacoochee State Forest, Dade Battlefield, and the Crystal River Nuclear Power Plant.
