The Department revoked the distributor license held by SunL Group, Inc., license number

MD 1000703-1 on June 5, 2009 for consistent non-compliance with Florida Law. Therefore, SunL Group, Inc., has been deleted as a distributor from the approved Motorcycles List-50cc’s or less on the intranet.

 

Prior to June 5, 2009, SunL Group, Inc., was licensed for the following line-makes for distribution in the State of Florida:

 

         Manufactured by China Qingqi Group, Inc. dba Jinan Qingqi, with WMI LAE, line make of QING, motorcycles with an engine displacement 50cc’s and less, and motorcycles with an engine displacement greater than 50cc’s, approved by the Department on June 16, 2005;

         Manufactured by Chongqing Kinlon Motorcycle Marketing Co. Ltd. WMI LLC line-make CHON motorcycles with an engine displacement greater than 50cc’s, approved by the Department on November 14, 2005;

         Manufactured by Taizhou Chuanl Motorcycle Manufacturing Co. Ltd. WMI LFG line make of CHUA motorcycles with an engine displacement 50cc’s and less, and motorcycles with an engine displacement greater than 50cc’s, approved by the Department on November 14, 2005;

         Manufactured by Shanghai Meitian Motorcycle Co. Ltd. WMI LXK line make of MEIT motorcycles with an engine displacement 50cc’s and less, and motorcycles with an engine displacement greater than 50cc’s, approved by the Department on October 19, 2006;

         Manufactured by Shanghai JMSTAR Motorcycle Co. Ltd. WMI LJ4 line make of JMST motorcycles with an engine displacement 50cc’s and less, and motorcycles with an engine displacement greater than 50cc’s, approved by the Department on October 19, 2006;

         Manufactured by Shanghai Shenke Motorcycle, Co. Ltd. WMI L8Y line-make SHEN motorcycles with an engine displacement 50cc’s and less, and motorcycles with an engine displacement greater than 50cc’s, approved by the Department on January 15, 2008;

         Manufactured by Astronautical Bashan Motorcycle Manufacturer, Co, Ltd., WMI LHJ line-make BASH motorcycles with an engine displacement 50cc’s and less, and motorcycles with an engine displacement greater than 50cc’s, approved by the Department on June 5, 2008;

         Manufactured by Zhejiang Mengdeli Electric, Co, Ltd., WMI L5C line-make MENG motorcycles with an engine displacement 50cc’s and less, and motorcycles with an engine displacement greater than 50cc’s, approved by the Department on June 19,2008;

         Manufactured by Zhejiang Kangdi Vehicles Co, Ltd., WMI LA9 line-make KANG motorcycles with an engine displacement 50cc’s and less, and motorcycles with an engine displacement greater than 50cc’s, approved by the Department on June 19, 2008;

 

The Department would like to provide assistance to dealers and consumers with the process of titling and registering motorcycles with an engine displacement greater than 50cc’s and motorcycles with an engine displacement 50cc’s or less acquired from SunL Group, Inc., prior to their license being revoked on June 5, 2009.

 

When your office receives the documents to title and register one of these motorcycles with an engine displacement greater than 50cc’s or motorcycles with an engine displacement 50cc’s or less, please make sure that all required documents necessary for processing the title work including proof that the motorcycle was purchased by the retailer/dealer from SunL Group, Inc., before June 5, 2009 is verified. Thereafter, please call the Dealer License Section staff at (850) 617-3003 for overrides to process the title work.

 

Please be aware that any motorcycle with an engine displacement greater than 50cc’s or motorcycle with an engine displacement 50cc’s or less purchased by a retailer/dealer from SunL Group, Inc., after June 5, 2009 may not meet all the requirements to be titled in the State of Florida.
