                        We have a new Certificate of Title (Form 82250) with a revision date of 12/05.  Once all Certificates of Title with the old revision date of 12/02 are depleted, the new Certificates of Title with revision date of 12/05 will be used.  In order for the new Certificates of Title to be issued correctly on the new equipment, the following must be done: 

 

·        Insert the Certificates of Title (Rev. 12/05) into the paper tray of the printer designated to print titles.  The titles must be placed into the tray face up with the lien satisfaction inserted first. 

 

·        The “New Title Cert” must be checked on the Maintain Local Agency screen.  Go to Miscellaneous, System Admin, Maintain Local Agency and tab down to “New Title Cert” and press the space bar.  Then store the information by pressing F12. 

 

In order for the new Certificates of Title to be issued correctly on the old equipment, the following must be done: 

 

·        The Certificates of Title (Rev 12/05) will be printed from the same tray that they were always issued from.  The titles will be inserted face down with the lien satisfaction inserted last. 

 

·        The “New Title Cert” must be checked on the Maintain Local Agency screen.  Go to Miscellaneous, System Admin, Maintain Local Agency and tab down to “New Title Cert” and press the space bar.  Then store the information by pressing F12.
