- Do you have Florida automobile insurance on all vehicles
registered in Florida?

- All vehicles registered in Florida are required to have Florida
insurance coverage regardless of where the vehicles are maintained.
Check your insurance card or policy. It will indicate which vehicles
are insured and whether it is Florida coverage. If you do not
have Florida coverage, contact a Florida automobile insurance
agent to purchase the necessary coverage.
- Is the address on your license correct?

- Look at your Florida driver license. If the address is not,
update your address with us by internet,
phone or mail.
- Have you changed insurance companies in the last six months?

- If you have, remind your insurance agent to report your new
policy to the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
- Have you bought a vehicle in the last six months?

- If you have, remind your insurance agent to report your new
vehicle coverage and the correct vehicle identification number(VIN)
to the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Compare
the VIN on your registration to your insurance card to be sure
the numbers match.
- Have you cancelled an insurance policy in the last
six months on a car you aren't driving?
If you have, and:
- you still own the vehicle and
- you still have a tag registered to that vehicle and
- it is no longer being driven
- Cancel your tag and registration by turning them in to any
Florida driver license office. (Florida law requires insurance
coverage on all registered vehicles.)
