On Wednesday, December 16th, Colonel John Czernis and HSMV Executive Director Julie Jones met with members of Troop E. Prior to the commencement of the informational session the command staff recognized several members of the Troop who were recently selected for promotion. The following members were recognized:

Following the promotional ceremony, members of the Troop were apprised of statewide developments in the areas of equipment, staffing, and budgeting. Executive Director Jones introduced herself to members of the Troop and discussed her extensive state law enforcement background. Executive Director Jones told troopers that she would use her expertise to ensure that the patrol continues to be a nationally recognized state law enforcement agency. Members of the Troop were encouraged to ask questions of the staff which culminated in a long question and answer period with troopers on a wide range of issues.
