Maj. Ryan Burchnell presents award to Trooper Evans

Land O Lakes, Fla. – On Nov. 3, 2008, Trooper Ronald Evans of Troop C – Land O Lakes, was honored by Maj. Ryan Burchnell for achieving the highest number of DUI arrests of any trooper in the state for the month of September 2008. Evans' outstanding efforts removed 18 impaired drivers from Florida’s highways and made Pasco County that much safer for other motorists. This is the 17th time Evans has received the award. When asked his feelings on the subject, Evans simply stated, "I am proud to know my effort saves lives."
