Recently, an impressive FHP contingent led one of the biggest Martin Luther King Day parades in the United States through the streets of Liberty City in Dade County.
The Troop E Color Guard lead the march, followed by the FHP Motor Squad and Troop E’s Occupant Protection Program Specialist Trooper Mary Jackson driving a new Chevy Tahoe towing a trailer full of child safety seats and traffic safety hand-outs for the public.
Troopers Tammy Burroughs and Jonathan Bent walked the two-mile parade route distributing hundreds of hand outs to parents to let them know about FHP's child passenger safety program.
