Recently, Lt. Steve Preston, Troop A Public Affairs Officer, and Sgt. Randle Padgett participated in a safety day event held at the Lakeview Center in Pensacola. The event, held during lunch time so Lakeview staff and clients could attend, included dozens of safety displays set up to provide information to the public. FHP had an opportunity to provide safety information with members of the community, answering questions, and offering guidance on a number of traffic-related issues to approximately one thousand people in attendance.
